A natural spring deep beneath the village is the water source. After years of filtration through the rock base, the water is drawn up and used throughout the village and spa. All treatment rooms enjoy natural light.

The Spa enjoys an idyllic location, close to the shoreline with glorious views over the inner harbour. Woodlands and reed beds to the right complete the picture. Massage and body treatments are carried out in this area.
relaxation room
After bathing in the natural spring waters of the Aqua Suite take to the relaxation room and chill…..Perfectly Peaceful. Curl up with a cosy blanket, read a book or simply watch the birds frolic on the lake beyond. Weather permitting, relax on the deck as you wait for your next brush with heaven.
beauty rooms
You will find the Beauty Rooms located on the main street where blissful facials and hand and foot treatments may be enjoyed. The mood is tranquil with cream washed timber floors, mirrors and cottage garden flower arrangements, filling the rooms with the scent of herbs and blooms.
yoga
Mats are available at the Spa and we encourage guests to find their own heavenly location to practice some yoga. Groups are welcome and, weather permitting, the deck is the perfect place to gather from sunrise to sunset. We plan to introduce yoga retreats over the coming months – check out developments on facebook

Booking your appointment
All treatments/reservations are subject to availability.
Treatment suitability will only be confirmed on arrival to our Spa and subject to completion of our Consultation Form.
Weekends are generally busy. We recommend you book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointmentAt the time of making your reservation please advise / indicate if you intend to redeem a gift voucher or other promotional certificate. Your Gift voucher number will be required at time of booking
Credit card details are required at time of booking in order to guarantee your appointment
Spa Day and Half Day packages are only available Tuesday to Friday.
Promotional offers are valid for selected days only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Coolbawn Quay Spa reserves the right to introduce spa promotions/special offers at any time. Rates cannot be adjusted for treatments booked prior to a promotion being introduced
Please also communicate any information the Spa may need to know when you visit e.g. whether you are vegetarian, should you be dining with us.
Please be aware when completing the online Treatment Request Form that your reservation is not confirmed until you are contacted by Spa Reception.
Contra-indications
Please mention if you have any medical conditions e.g. Heart conditions, cancer, respiratory problems, skin disorders/allergies, recent surgery, diabetes, epilepsy, high or low blood pressure, diabetes, metal pins or plates or currently under Medical Supervision.
Some treatments may not be advisable if you suffer from any of the above conditions, and prior written medical permission may be necessary. Please also communicate if you are pregnant.
If you do not advise us of any contra-indications/special requirements at time of booking we cannot guarantee that you will be fully accommodated on your visit. If you have any concerns please check by calling our Spa Reception 067 28949.
Should a treatment be found unsuitable we will recommend an alternative treatment where possible.
Children under 16 years of age cannot avail of Spa treatments. Only certain mini treatments can be done with parent’s supervision/permission
The Spa is a non smoking area and alcohol consumption within the spa is prohibited. Alcohol consumption/heavy meals are best avoided 2 hours prior to spa treatment.
Please note that all guests visiting the Aqua suite must be aged 16 or over.
Arriving/Departing
Please arrive five minutes prior to your appointment time.
Late arrivals will be charged full price and treatment shortened.
Spa treatments are carried out after completion of our consultation card.
At the end of your Spa treatment, you will be asked to sign a docket. Day Guests will be asked to proceed to Reception for process of payment. If resident at Coolbawn Quay, your Spa Treatment will be added to your account for payment on departure.
Gratuities for your therapist are welcome and may be handed to the therapist or left in an envelope at reception.
Cancellation Policy
48 hours notice is required for cancellation of an individual Spa Treatment
72 hours is required for cancellation of a Spa Day or Half Day package
Full price may be charged for any appointment cancelled with less than this notice including no shows.
Groups of five people or more need to give 14 days notice. This is to accommodate other guests.
Cancellation charges will be charged to the credit card used to secure the original booking

Spa Attire
Please wear casual attire and bring your swimsuit.
We provide towels, robe and slippers.
We suggest that jewellery/ make-up be kept to a minimum or not worn in the spa
Disposable underwear is provided for certain treatments.
Swimwear must be worn at all times in the Aqua Suite.
Advice and preferences
Please communicate preferences to your therapist i.e. the amount of pressure, room temperature, whether you want conversation or silence etc. Any queries or concerns can be communicated to our therapists who will gladly assist you.
Advice on the number of treatments you should plan in a day can be given by our therapists.
Spa Maintenance
AEvery effort is made to ensure the smooth running of the Spa but on some occasion’s refurbishment/ongoing maintenance/unforeseen circumstances may cause some of the facilities to be withdrawn at short notice. All facilities are subject to availability
Modesty
Therapists do respect client’s modesty and will keep you covered at all times except for the area of the body they are working on.
Valuables
The Management and CBQ staff does not accept responsibility for the loss of any valuables /money brought onto the spa/beauty premises.
Gift Vouchers
Vouchers are available at Reception or can be purchased via our website. Vouchers of a monetary value only can be redeemed against the purchase of products and treatments. All other vouchers must be redeemed for the item on the voucher and are non transferable. They must be presented on day of treatment and are non refundable or exchangeable for cash.
Payments
We accept all major credit cards and cash. Payment from guests staying can be charged to their room.
Price information
Please note that pricing is subject to change.
Shaving
Shaving should be done the day before for male clients if they have a facial booked. We recommend shaving be done at least a day or two before any body treatments.
Mobile phones and Noise
Please respect the tranquil environment of the Spa and ensure that mobile phones are switched off and to keep noise to the minimum by speaking softly.
After Care
Take the Coolbawn Quay Spa experience home. We offer Dr Hauschka, Spa Find and Guinot Face and Body products to purchase at our spa.
